Come and enjoy some rural R&R with us!

We’re a lovely, welcoming B&B on a working Welsh dairy farm a stone’s throw from Abergavenny. We’re a hop, skip and a jump from great restaurants, market towns, historical sites and the great outdoors of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park!

We are currently closed until April 2023 when we very much look forward to opening again to welcome guests both old and new.

Hardwick Farm B&B

Hardwick Farm Bed & Breakfast

Hardwick Farm is a comfortable B&B on a working dairy farm in a great, convenient rural location just outside Abergavenny in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Dairy farmer Carol Jones runs the bed and breakfast – she's been voted one of Wales' friendliest B&B hosts and she will welcome you and make sure you have a great stay and hearty farm breakfast.

There are wonderful views of the Black Mountains from the farm B&B's windows. Walkers are welcome, as are cyclists and other outdoor enthusiasts as well as visitors to the area attending Abergavenny Food Festival and the Abergavenny Cycling Festival.

How to find us

Hardwick Farm B&B – Abergavenny Food Festival

Plenty to do for foodies & walkers

You can put your boots on and walk straight from the farm door with a lovely walk to the river and the Usk Valley Walk. The Blorenge is within striking distance, as are the Sugar Loaf and The Skirrid (our three favourite mountains but there are plenty to choose from).

If food's your thing, we have an amazing range of options – from one of Wales' most-famous restaurants, the award-winning Hardwick, which is nearby, to great real ale pubs and cosy cafes. Don't forget we're a hop, skip and a jump from Abergavenny if you come for its annual Abergavenny Food Festival too.

Things to do in the area

Please note, as Hardwick Farm is a working farm – rather than a rural smallholding – it is unfortunately not suitable for young children under 12 for safety reasons.
